Five Minute Bible Study:  "Wonderful Words of Hope and Love"

"For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy  toward those who fear him; As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us."  (Psalms 103:11-12)

"Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.  And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."  (Matthew 1:20-21).

"…John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, 'Behold! The Lamb of  God who takes away the sins of the world!"  (John 1:29)

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."  (John 3:16-17)

"And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.  Then Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.'"            (Luke 23:32-34)

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."  (Romans 5:8)

"Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."  (Romans 6:4)

"And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many.  To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation."             (Hebrews 9:27-28)
